In 2018/2019, this work is part of the show TERRA inFIRMA, at the Dr. Bernard Heller Museum, Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, New York, “an art exhibition that focuses on climate change and global warming through the lens of Jewish values and contemporary social activism.” Respect for ongoing scientific research related to global warming is denoted with acronym cutouts that represent research projects, agencies and organizations all working to save our planet.
A glossary of the acronyms accompany the installation to further the art’s educational component. An inspiring full color catalog accompanies the exhibition, with excellent essays written by rabbis and others about why this topic is so important. The work was also exhibited at the Fine Arts Exhibition 2018 at the Decatur Arts Festival in the Dana Farber Art Gallery at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA.
