A commission by a client who wanted to surprise his wife with a very special work of original art to celebrate not only their wedding anniversary, but also to signify her completing a regimen of successful treatments in overcoming  a personal health challenge. Symbolic stairs and steps become platforms to a journey manifesting joy and celebration, along with other shapes using watercolor paint, to evoke a renewal of spirit and an affirmation of life. This art is one example of how I listen carefully to a client’s story in order to create a symbolic and meaningful work of art.
